Srinagar : In a significant development, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC), extended his heartfelt appreciation to key officials for their instrumental role in securing a release of 5000 Crores for the General Provident Fund (GPF) of employees.
In a statement issued here on Saturday the EJCC Chairman expressed gratitude to LG Manoj Sinha, Advisor Rajeev Rai Bhaynagar, Chief Secretary Dr. A K Mehta, and Principal Secretary Finance Santosh D Vaidya for their pivotal efforts in facilitating the allocation of funds, demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of employees, adding therein that “This long-awaited financial relief comes as a boon for the workforce, addressing a persistent concern that has been on the agenda for an extended period”.
The statement issued by EJCC Chairman further reads “I extend my sincere appreciation to LG Manoj Sinha and his administration for their proactive approach in understanding the longstanding concerns of the employees. The release of 5000 Crores for the General Provident Fund reflects their commitment to the well-being of the workforce Khan said that under the able leadership of LG Sinha there has been a notable commitment to fostering a conducive work environment, adding therein that “ This financial support not only addresses a crucial need but also signifies a collaborative effort towards building a harmonious and productive relationship between the employees and the administration”.
Khan emphasized the prevailing sentiment among employees, highlighting their steadfast dedication to the nation and their preference for constructive resolutions over unnecessary protests. “The acknowledgment of the release as a form of relief underscores the importance of timely addressing pressing issues, showcasing a collaborative approach between employee representatives and government authorities,” he said. Khan said this will not only provides financial support to the employees but also reflects a shared commitment to fostering a harmonious work environment where concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. The Chairman expressed optimism that such collaborative efforts will continue to pave the way for mutually beneficial solutions, reinforcing the principle that dialogue and cooperation are key to overcoming challenges in the workplace.
