‘Back to Village’ empowers remote governance in Pyt. Panassa Block Thakrakote in Reasi

Reasi: The third day of the ‘Back to Village’ initiative showcased impactful activities across various panchayats in Reasi district.
The Visiting Officers engaged in public meets, inspections and discussions to assess grassroots-level amenities.
Throughout the day diverse activities unfolded, including interactive sessions with the public, distribution Sports kits, Nasha Mukti and Cleanliness pledge, inspection of ongoing projects, PMAY house inaugurations, Jal Jeevan Mission, cultural and sports events, and gram sabhas, Bal sabhas & Mahila Sabhas.
Public services underwent rigorous inspections, with designated administrators collaborating with officers from relevant departments to ensure comprehensive grievance recording. Compiled reports will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner for redressal.
Visiting officer Deputy Director Tourism Jammu Abdul Jabbar also liaised with line department officers, gathering feedback on ongoing developmental schemes.During the B2V5 Programme Visiting Officer distributed Soil Health Cards, Bank Pass Books and Visiting Officer inspected various Educational and Medical Institutions of Pyt. Panassa Block Thakrakote. Various Awareness Sessions were conducted during the interaction with the general masses in the presence of Sectoral Officers Regarding Health like ABHA ID, CRS Portal for Birth and Death registration, Janbhagidari, AZAN Portal of Revenue.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, emphasized the flagship nature of the program, urging rural residents to actively participate. The third day witnessed enthusiastic involvement from PRI representatives and the general public, reflecting keen interest in this government initiative.
Other officials present were Tehsildar Thakrakote Anil Magotra, BDO Thakrakote Kumar Gokul and Liaison Officer Ketan Khosla and other sectoral Officers
