DDC Chairman B’gam, Delegation of Apple Farmers’ Federation call on LG

Srinagar: Nazir Ahmad Khan, Chairman, District Development Council, Budgam called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
The DDC Chairman expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor for the comprehensive development initiatives being undertaken in Budgam District. Rafi Ahmad Mir, former legislator from Pahalgam also met the Lt Governor and discussed various developmental issues of the area.
A delegation led by Zahoor Ahmad Rather, President, J&K Committee, Apple Farmers’ Federation of India called on the Lt Governor and apprised their concerning issues. A delegation of National Awardee Teachers of J&K led by Sh Wali Mohammad Bhat met the Lt Governor and put forth issues of the National Awardee teachers. Later, Dr. Farida Khan, BDC Chairperson Sopore also called on the Lt Governor and discussed public importance issues of her area. While interacting with the public representatives and the members of the delegations, the Lt Governor assured them of appropriate action on all the genuine issues and demands presented during the meetings.
