Srinagar: Police under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’ on Thursday organized one day awareness programmes under the theme “Police in Amrit Kall” for the students at District Police Lines Sopore and Police Station Rajpora, Pulwama.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, in Sopore, the programme was chaired by SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab along with DySP DAR Sopore. In the programme 32 students of different schools actively participated in Police District Sopore. While as in Pulwama, the programme was chaired by SP Hqrs Pulwama Showkat Rafiq Wani, along with DySP DAR and SHO Rajpora and the Thirty students from Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Rajpora, Rahmoo, and Drabgum participated in the programme.
Moreover these programmes garnered a vibrant atmosphere of learning. This heartening response was heartily welcomed by Police, emphasizing the importance of nurturing community connections.
With the aim of acquainting participants regarding he functioning of the police and the services they provide, these programmes took students on an insightful journey. They explored the SHO office, the MHC office, and the CCTNS Lab, gaining invaluable insights into the multifaceted realm of police operations. Concluding the programmes, students have been facilitated with necessary refreshments & decent lunch and have also been awarded with participation certificates to boost their morale for their future participation in such likewise programmes.
