Srinagar : Police in Awantipora on Thursday distributed school kits, shoes among the needy students at Govt. Upper Primary School Lanzgund Tral, Govt. Boys Primary School Branpathri Tral, Govt. Upper Primary School Nagabal Tral. Besides, distributed sports kits at District Police Lines Awantipora.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said while interacting with the students, SSP Awantipora assured them of all possible support and advised the students to concentrate in their studies and also take part in extracurricular activities. He also stated that students should make optimum use of time and channelize their energy in the right direction. He also urged the students to remain away from the drug menace and concentrate on your studies.
Moreover, under the Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, SSP Awantipora along with SP DAR distributed Sports kits among leading teams of Sub Division Tral, Pampore and Awantipora at DPL Awantipora.
Police in its statement said that the general public hailed the efforts of police for helping such needy students. At the end of the event, community members expressed their gratitude for the support provided by the department. Moreover the SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar along with SP DAR Hilal Khaliq Bhat and SDPO Tral were present in the event.
