Kolkata: BJP stands with the people of West Bengal against the “misgovernance” of the Mamata government, asserted party National President J P Nadda on Sunday.

Addressing the Morcha Sanjukta Sammelan here, Nadda said, ” We will continue to fight for the voice of the people democratically despite all hostilities of TMC. ”

” On this 15th August, we are entering the Amrit Kaal with the conviction to make India a developed nation by the year 2047, ” Nadda averred.

The BJP President maintained it’s unfortunate that West Bengal is today reeling under “scams and appeasement” because of the “corrupt” Mamata government, which has even “stopped” the implementation of the centre’s schemes that are aimed at improving the lives of millions of poor people.

” Under the leadership of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, the people of West Bengal have been increasingly blessing us, which shows their trust in our vision to fulfil their aspirations, ” he added.

” Let us join the call of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji to unfurl Tiranga at our homes in celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, ” he said and added, ” I appeal to all to change the DP of your social media accounts to our national flag, ‘Tiranga’. ”

” The Amrit Mahotsav, which is dedicated to the pride and glory of Maa Bharti, has become a powerful medium to convey patriotism and a sense of duty towards the nation to our younger generations.#HarGharTiranga, ” Nadda mentioned.

Earlier, Nadda offered his obeisance to Goddess Kali at Dakshineswar Temple.

After offering oblation, Nadda said he prayed to The Almighty, sought strength and blessings from Her for the party members to remain dedicated to the service of “Maa Bharati”.

Nadda said he prayed to the Goddess for power, energy and strength for the people and the party so that under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India can flourish into a developed nation not only physically but also spiritually.

” Started my day by offering prayers at Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata, West Bengal. This sacred temple is the centre of faith and devotion for countless devotees across India. May Ma Kali bless our countrymen with health and prosperity and give us the strength to keep working towards the nation’s progress, ” he tweeted.
