Srinagar : Police in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) B’gam on Saturday organised a 1-day awareness and mega Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Screening Camp at District Police Lines Budgam. The event marked a significant step towards promoting the health and well-being of the district’s police personnel. The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Budgam Akshay Labroo.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the event witnessed the active participation of numerous medical teams, who conducted comprehensive screenings and a range of investigations on police personnel stationed within the district. The thorough evaluations aimed at identifying potential NCDs and facilitating early intervention for the overall betterment of the health of these personnel.
During her informative speech, Dr. Sahila, a medical expert, shed light on the various non-communicable diseases prevalent in society and elaborated on effective strategies to control and manage them. Her insightful discourse provided attendees with valuable insights into leading healthier lifestyles and making informed choices to prevent the onset of these diseases.
