Srinagar: A 17-year-old boy hailing from Baramulla was found dead in Ganderbal on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that the boy was found near the Wussan area by some locals who informed the police.
The police visited the spot and took the body and started an investigation, he said.
Later, the Naib Tehsildar Kangan Police and FSL completed their investigation and other important formalities.
The dead body was shifted to Trauma Hospital Kangan for conducting the autopsy, the official said, adding that soon after completing the medical formalities, the body was handed over to the family for last rites
