Srinagar : In wake of the buses engaged for Yatra services, leaving commuters across Kashmir to fend for themselves, Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) on Monday said the buses would be re-inducted back to designated routes once the Yatra demand reduces.
JKRTC Manager Passenger Services (MPS) Srinagar Peer Shiraj u Din confirmed that in view of on-going SANJY-2023, almost the entire scheduled bus services of district services Kashmir has been deployed for Yatra duty since 26th of last month.
He said that the passengers across all districts of Kashmir who have been facing problems shall understand the sensitive nature of the matter.
“Once the Yatra-2023 demand will come down the buses shall be re-inducted into their routes for scheduled services in a phased manner,” he added.
