Free Medical camp & Yoga session held at District Court Complex Pulwama

Pulwama: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama in collaboration with Ayush Pulwama on Thursday organized an iconic Yoga Session and Ayush Mega Medical Camp in the District Court premises Pulwama.
During the daylong camp, Ayush Physicians/doctors examined the patients and provided them free medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DLSA Pulwama/ PDJ, Naseer Ahmad Dar said that Ayush Physician are playing important role in improving health condition of the patients and Ayush is providing medicines to the patients for treating their diseases, besides providing necessary therapies including counseling, meditation, Yoga and dietary modification.
“Today people are being made aware about the overall benefits of using Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani etc. for improvement in their health conditions,” he added.
He said due to the efforts of Director Ayush (J&K), Dr. Mohan Singh and DNO Ayush Pulwama, Dr. Manzoor, an awareness programme was made successful where experts/ Doctors of the Ayush Pulwama including Paramedical and Yoga assistants were available for check-up.
Meanwhile, the doctors that were available include Dr. Altaf Hussain (Nodal officer of the event), Dr. Zahoor Ahmad (Medical officer /Consultant AYUSH), Dr. Manzoor Ahmad (MO), Dr. Humaira Tabasum Medical officer /AYUSH Gynaecologist and Dr. Imtiyaz (Medical officer/Consultant Ayush ). Paramedical and Yoga assistants Gh Nabi, Miss Beenish (Pharmacists) Bilquesa, Muzamil Shaban, Tasleema, Mahreen along with the establishment employees Farooq Ahmad, Shahid Nazir, Manzoor Ahmad etc. remained available for consultation and check-up of the people.
On the occasion, DNO, Dr. Altaf Hussain Pulwama thanked Chairman, Naseer Ahmad Dar and Secretary, Susheel Singh of District Legal Services Authority Pulwama for their cooperation for the successful conduct of the Medical Aid camp.
The camp also witnessed participation of Judicial Officers and officials, BAR members and large number of people.
