Pulwama: Caring Hands Foundation in collaboration with Hindustan Scouts & Guides on Saturday organised a programme on Drug Abuse at ITI Tral, which was attended by a large number of students.
Farooq Trali, Chairman, Citizens Council Tral, attended the programme as Chief Guest, while Superintendent ITI, GN Shah, ASI Police Station Tral, Shamas Din, Vice Principal, GDC Tral, Professor. Shakeel Khanday, and other dignitaries were also present.
On the occasion, all speakers deliberated on the ill effects of drug abuse, and asked participants to stay away from drugs, to live a better life.
They also hailed the efforts of team members of Caring Hands Foundation & Hindustan Scouts for conducting such programmes in the sub district.
At the end of the programme, all the speakers were awarded with momentos and certificates by the management.
Pertinently, “Hindustan Guides & Scouts is a movement, that aims to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, that they may play constructive roles in society, with a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills.”
