Jammu: Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh on Saturday sanctioned meritorious scholarships of Rs 2.69 lakh in favour of 26 wards of serving police personnel.
Accordingly to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ Jammu the DGP sanctioned Rs.2.69 lakh for 26 meritorious wards of serving Police personnel who have secured 80% and above marks in the Annual Examination of Graduation/Post Graduation during the academic session 2022. Among these, Rs.12000 each have been sanctioned in favour of twelve meritorious wards who have secured 80% and above marks in Post Graduation annual examination and Rs.8500 each have been sanctioned in favour of fourteen meritorious wards who have secured 80% and above marks in annual examination of Graduation during the session 2022.
Police Chief has also sanctioned financial assistance of Rs one Lac to NoK’s of slain SgCt. Mohd Amin in connection with the marriage ceremony of his daughter. The amount has been sanctioned out of the Central Police Welfare Fund/J&K Police Pariwar
