Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav has announced that the first-of-its-kind “Sinthan Snow Festival” scheduled for March 19 at Sinthan Maidan Kishtwar has been postponed due to rough weather conditions.
A press release issued by the Dr Yadav reads, ‘The safety of tourists and organising staff is the prime concern for the authorities. Based on inputs from Police and Army, this decision has been made’.
‘As weather conditions are unlikely to improve in the coming week and with the advent of festival season, a revised date will be communicated shortly’, the official statement communicates.
