Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and also recovered the stolen property worth lacs.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that on 28th January this year Police Station Kunzer received a complaint from one Aijaz Ahmad Zargar S/O Mohd Akbar R/O Chichiloora Kunzer wherein he alleged that during intervening night of 27-28th January-2023, some unknown burglars broke open the lock of his mobile shop located in Main Market Kunzer and stole mobile phones and other accessories.
Stating that it has accordingly registered a case vide FIR No. 06/2023 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Kunzer and investigation was initiated, Police in it’s statement further said that during the course of investigation with the help of technical and human resources, one suspect identified as Sahil Ahmad Ganie S/O Abdul Rehman Ganie R/O Ratnipora Payeen Watalpora Kunzar was called for questioning, Stating therein further
that after thorough questioning, officers learnt his involvement in the commission of crime and on his disclosure, stolen mobile phones and other accessories worth lacs including three iphone11, two iPhoneXR, One iPhoneX, One iphone8plus, two iphone 8, One iphone SE2020, One Bluetooth, One Cable and two iPhone cable were recovered from his possession. In the concluding para of the above quoted statement Police assured people to act tough against the individuals involved in criminal activities.
