Draw of lots for establishment of Trout Units held at DC Office Kupwara

Kupwara: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. DoifodeSagarDattatray, Fisheries department Thursday held draw of lots under CAPEX 2022-23 at D.C Office Kupwara to select the beneficiaries for establishment of trout units.
The proceedings were held under the supervision of Joint Director Planning, Abdul Majeed.
Dy. Director Fisheries, Rafiq Ahmad Sofi; AD Fisheries, Sajad Ahmad; AD Planning, Mohammad Maqbool, besides, shortlisted beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, 2 beneficiaries, one from YahamaMawar and another from ZoonareshiChowkibal got selected for construction of trout units through the private sector during the draw of lots proceedings. The work orders were also distributed among the selected beneficiaries.
It was informed that the selected beneficiaries will get 50% subsidy out of the total cost of Rs.5.50 lakh for establishing the units through CAPEX 2022-23.
