Srinagar : Piping ceremony of recently promoted Sub-Inspectors was on Thursday held during an impressive ceremonial function at District Police Office Pulwama.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters the promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks by SSP Pulwama Gh Jeelani Wani besides ASP Pulwama, Dy SP Hqrs Pulwama and other Police Officers were present on the occasion. The promoted officers include Ashish Pandita, Shah Faisal Khan, Abdul Khaliq, Manzoor Ahmad, Muneer Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Ashraf, Ghulam Hassan, Mushtaq Ahmad and Abdul Rashid.
On the occasion, SSP Pulwama congratulated the promoted officers. He said that each elevation comes with more responsibility and challenges to the working assignments and hoped that the officers would continue to work with zeal and zest in the future as well. He wished him good luck for the future.
In a concluding para of the statement, during the colourful ceremony, the newly promoted officers expressed their gratitude towards police department for conferring their next rank. They also pledged to work with same zeal and enthusiasm.
