Jammu: Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh on Saturday greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir, next of kin of the police martyrs, and all ranks of Jammu Kashmir Police, Security forces, and their families on the eve of New Year.
According to a statement issued from Police Headquarters DGP in his message said that with the cooperation of People the peace is prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir adding that with their continuous support J&K Police and other security forces will continue its work to strengthen the peaceful atmosphere in J&K.
In his message he has urged upon all ranks of JKP to commit themselves to perform duties with renewed vigour and resolve so as to usher in J&K an era of lasting peace and ensure that our people feel safer and happier knowing that they are guarded by professionals of an elite police force. He has also prayed for more peace, prosperity and happiness to the Union Territory and its people in the New Year.
