Srinagar: A 25-year-old youth died in a road accident in Drung area of Tangmarg in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said here on Friday.
An official said that the youth identified as Saqlain Rashid son of Abdul Rashid of Zanigam Berwaah was critically injured when he lost control over his bike.
Soon after the incident, the injured was rushed to a nearby health facility where doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
After medical legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to family for last rites, official added.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and a case has been registered
