Poonch : The department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Poonch organized a series of awareness camps in rural areas to educate the people about different schemes of the department.
The Camps were held at Panchayat Gar Uchhad, Panchayat Gar Bhatadhurian, Panchayat Gar Potha Lower, offices of Tehsil Supply Officers Mankote, Balakote&Surankote.
The primary focus of the programme was to create awareness among the beneficiaries in respect of various schemes run by the FCS&CA Department like PMGKAY, NFSA/NON-NFSA, ONORC, etc.
The beneficiaries were intimated about the achievements of the departments like 100% Aadhaar seeding, distribution of PDS ration through PoS machine via biometric authentication, roll out of ONORC scheme etc. The beneficiaries present shared their views and expressed satisfaction for getting due ration quota as per rate and scale.
