Srinagar : Budgam police in collaboration with Sub-District Hospital Khansahib on Thursday organised a medical camp at Police Station Khansahib.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said, the camp was organized to provide basic as well as specialist health care services along-with laboratory investigation and free drugs to the police personnel posted at Police Station Khansahib and SDPO office Khansahib.
On this occasion, the SHO Police Station Khansahib Inspector Samir Ahmad Lone coordinated the organization of medical camp. A team of specialist doctors attended the medical camp and conducted the basic medical examination of the police personnel.
In his message, SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem laid stress on importance of physical and mental fitness for police personnel. He also apprised the importance of personal health and hygiene for maintaining a healthy life style. He emphasized upon police officers of Budgam to organize such medical camps at each Police Station and other Police establishments on quarter yearly.
