Rajouri : Under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign IRP 2nd Bn Rajouri on Wednesday organized an event at Golden Institute of Education higher secondary school Fatehpur, Rajouri. Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria and DDC member Rajouri, Sain Abdul Rashid were chief guests on the occasion.
According to the statement issued from Police Headquarters on Wednesday, the event was organized under the theme “Tiranga the Pride” which was held under the supervision of Commandant IRP-2nd Battalion, Randeep Kumar. The students of various schools, school managements, villagers and parents attended the event, in large numbers.
At the outset, National Anthem was sung by a group of girl students following which students spoke on India’s Independence, Freedom Movement and values of National Flag (Tiranga) and emphasized on inculcating national spirits and patriotic feel. The students also performed different cultural events based on patriotism and the life of soldiers.
According to the concluding para of the above referred statement, while addressing the gathering, Deputy Commandant IRP-2nd Battalion, Khalid Amin said, “Tiranga is not only a National Flag but a binding power which keeps the entire country united.” On this occasion, he also spoke about the flag code and asked the participants to take care of honor of the National Flag and not to violate flag code. He threw light on the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and asked all the participants to ensure that they hoist the National Flag on their house as a part of the National Unity campaign.
