Srinagar: After a wet spell for a couple of days last week, the temperature has soared once again in Kashmir while Srinagar recorded the hottest day of the season at 33.2 degree Celsius.
Reports said several parts of Kashmir including Srinagar, Qazigund, Kokernag and other areas reeled under heat wave as the mercury settled above 30 degree Celsius Tuesday.
Srinagar recorded the hottest day of the season at 33.2 degree Celsius while the mercury settled at 32.0 degree Celsius and 31.5 degree Celsius in Qazigund and Kokernag areas respectively, the data revealed.
