Srinagar : In order to review the suspension of faculty members of Government Medical Colleges of Jammu and Kashmir, the Health and Medical Education Department constituted a review committee.
“In supersession of Government Order No. 291-JK(HME) of 2020) dated 18.03.2020 on the subject, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee to review the suspension of faculty members of Government Medical Colleges of J&K, in terms of Rule (31) of the Jammu & Kashmir (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956,” reads an order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary to Government, Health & Medical Education Department.
As per order the committee comprises of Administrative Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department, Concerned Principal of Government Medical College (as the case may be), Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department, Additional Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department and Additional Secretary (Law), Health & Medial Education Department.
“Concerned Under Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department shall present the case before the Committee with all the necessary documents,” it said
