Srinagar: A man was on Monday arrested after he allegedly stabbed his mother-in-law at Rambagh area of Srinagar.
Reports reaching here said that a man identified as Jasir Ahmad Gada of Batamaloo stabbed his 70-year-old mother-in-law identified as Amina resident of Raheembagh Mehjoor Nagar.
They said that soon after being stabbed by her son-in-law, the elderly lady was referred to SMHS hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the accused has been arrested by Srinagar police while a case under sections of attempt to murder has been registered at Saddar Police station.
“Accused namely Jasir Ahmad Gada of Batmaloo arrested for Stabbing his mother-in-law in Ram Bagh area. Case registered under sections of attempt to murder in Sadar Police station. Victim lady is grievously injured and is battling for life in SMHS Hospital,” Srinagar Police tweeted
