Demolition of some structures being raised illegally was also carried out during the tour. Taking cognisance of illegal usage of RoW spaces alongside the highways by commercial establishments including crushers, Rs 10,000 fine was imposed on the erring establishments.
The Addl. Div Com took strong note of several ramps that have been developed by people for accessing the highway. He said such ramps created security as well traffic management concerns and can cause accidents. He said that issues related to road maintenance have been noted and will be taken up with concerned quarters.
