Chairman DDC An visits Chittergul Block, inaugurates developmental works

Anantnag : The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Anantnag, Chowdary Mohammad YousufGorsi Monday conducted a day long tour of Chittergul block.
The chairman was accompanied by DDC member Chittergul, BDC Chairperson Chittergul, BMO Chittergul, A.E.E PDD, SHO, JE, sarpanches and panches.
The Chairman inaugurated the installed transformers at various locations of the block. At chittergul PHC, ambulance and CBC analyser were dedicated to the public in presence of DDC member, ex MLA and BDC Chairperson. It is in place to mention here that the ambulance was purchased out of District CAPEX.
The locals appreciated the administration for providing the health facilities to the area and demanded USG and X-ray facilities for the block.
The Chairman while interacting with the people said that the government is committed to bring governance at the doorstep of people. He said PRIs have played a vital role in implementing the developmental plans on the ground.
He emphasised upon the people to take the benefits of the schemes like BBBP, Golden card etc and stressed upon the officers to have cooperation with the PRIs for the best outcome of schemes.
Gorsi also inaugurated the installed transformers at various places vizThemran, Kharpora, Tenginulla, GujarbastiMuzmo, HajamMohallaDethu, additional accommodation for BDO Chittergul etc.
At Dethu NTPHC, the Chairmain along with sarpanch handed over the Ambulance to hospital authorities and interacted with the local Auqaf committees who put forth their demands before the Chairman which includes staff availability for NTPHC Dethu.
