2 persons arrested for beating 25yrs old youth to death in Budgam: Police

Budgam : Police on Monday said that it has arrested two persons for beating a 25yrs old youth to death in the Khansahib area of Budgam.
According to a police statement, the arrested accused persons involved in the commission of crime have been identified as Tahir Bashir Khan Son of Bashir Ahmed Khan and Hilal Ahmed Lone son of Abdul Ganie Lone both residents of Kachwari Khan Sahib area of Budgam.
Stating further that the preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested accused persons had beaten a 25yrs old youth Fayaz Ahmed Najar son of Abdul Rashid Najar resident of Gurwaith Khan Sahib to death, police in it’s above referred statement said that the deceased was hit on his head at Kachwari and was immediately taken to hospital in a critical condition for the treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police in the concluding para of it’s statement further said that a case vide FIR No. 60/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Khansahib and investigation set into motion.
