Police in an initiative visited the family of slain HC Mohd Akbar at Baidan Boniyar.
According to a police statement, SHO PS Boniyar, Insp. Raashid Ahmad visited the family of slain HC Mohd Akbar resident of Baidan Boniyar, District Baramulla who laid down his life in safeguarding the integrity of the country and for the peace and stability in the valley.
“Police is always ready to render helping hand to the families of salin police personnel and assure that reach out programs shall continue in the district”, reads the above referred police statement, adding therein that “the families of the slain police personnel expressed gratitude and their happiness for the police department for this kind and empathetic gesture”
