Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4750

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Wednesday said that 26 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 14 from Jammu division and 12 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453595.It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from any where in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4750.
The Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that 13 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 05 from Jammu Division and 08 from Kashmir Division, adding there in that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 38,766 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,19,44,500.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453595 positive cases, 112 are Active Positive (38 in Jammu Division and 74 in Kashmir Division), 448733 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24134133 test results available, 453595 samples have tested positive and 23680538 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 31888 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6279634 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31598 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 112 in isolation and 466431 in home surveillance. Besides, 5776743 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 09 fresh cases, Budgam, Pulwama and Kulgam reported one new case each while as Baramulla, Anantnag, Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 10 new cases, Doda reported 03 fresh cases, Kathua reported 01 new case while as Kishtwar, Rajouri, Ramban, Poonch, Reasi, Samba and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 04 (0.08%) is occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call JK Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialing toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
