Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Monday said that 12 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 07 from Jammu division and 05 from Kashmir division raised the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453562. It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4750.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that 16 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 05 from Jammu Division and 11 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 13,789 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,18,65,264.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453562 positive cases, 111 are Active Positive (40 in Jammu Division and 71 in Kashmir Division), 448701 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24078789 test results available, 453562 samples have tested positive and 23625227 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 26047 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6274556 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31310 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 111 in isolation and 464469 in-home surveillance. Besides, 5773916 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 05 fresh cases whileas Budgam, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, Pulwama, Bandipora Kulgam, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 06 new cases, Doda reported 01 fresh cases while as Kishtwar, Rajouri, Ramban, Poonch, Kathua, Reasi, Samba and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Monday. Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 01 (0.02%) is occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialing toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
