Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4749

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government on Saturday said that 19 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 10 from Jammu division and 09 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours, mounted the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453422. It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4749.
The Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that 48 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 22from Jammu Division and26 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 14,278doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,16,83,820. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453422 positive cases, 252are Active Positive (107in Jammu Division and 145in Kashmir Division), 448421 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23776650 test results available, 453422 samples have tested positive and 23323228 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 40,059 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6219125 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33615persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 252 in isolation and 458126 in home surveillance. Besides, 5722383 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 05 cases, Budgam reported 01case, Pulwama reported 01case, Bandipora reported 01case, Kulgam reported 01 case while as Baramulla, Kupwara, Anantnag, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 06 cases, Kathua reported 02cases, Poonch reported 01 case, Kishtwar reported 01 case while as Doda, Samba, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Saturday. Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 03(0.06%) are occupied. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
