Expedite work progress to meet timelines: DC G’bal tells Officer at developmental review meet

Ganderbal : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna Saturday exhorted the officers to expedite the progress of work on all ongoing development projects in the district to meet the already fixed timelines for completion of projects.
The DC gave these directions during a meeting of all the departments to take general review of the progress made On developmental works under execution in the district. During the meeting, the DC reviewed the physical and financial progress on the works/ projects approved under District Capex, NABARD, B2V, Languishing, PRI/DDC grants and other regular schemes.
The DC sought details from the concerned departments including Jal Shakti, KPDCL, R&B, Health, Education, I&FC, JKPCC and other executing agencies regarding the progress achieved and threadbare discussion was also held regarding the delay in completion of various projects for which the time lines were fixed.
While discussing the bottle necks that are hampering the progress of few projects including land and forest clearance issues, the DC asked the ADC to resolve such issues on priority so that such projects/works get completed within the stipulated time frame.
Progress on projects approved under Area Develop Fund was also discussed for which DC directed the concerned officers to ensure all such projects are completed till ending January 2022.
The DC directed all the officers to work dedicatedly and resolve minor issues inter departmentally so that the work on major projects is not hampered.
Jyotsna stressed upon all officers to expedite the work by way of mobilizing available resources, including men and machinery so that the developmental projects are completed within the stipulated time frame without compromising the quality and the benefits, so accrued, are felt at the grass-root level.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, ACP, SE R&B, SE O&M, KPDCL, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of various wings, DTO, and other concerned officers and officials.
