Ramban : Police and District Administration Ramban Tuesday paid rich tributes to Martyr ASI, J&K Police Ghulam Hassan Bhat here at his native village, Chuchattar Rajgarh.
Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, SSP, PD Nitya, SSP, Doda, Mumtaz Ahmed, SP, Operation Doda, Raj Kumar, Additional SP. Rajni Sharma, senior Army and CRPF officers, public representatives and other dignitaries, in presence of a huge congregation paid tributes to the martyr ASI, and SGCT, Shafiqe Ali of district Reasi and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured policemen.
The ASI, Ghulam Hussain Bhat was among 3 JKP cops martyred at Zevan Rangreth in Srinagar yesterday . He was offered floral tributes and given guard of honour at his village this afternoon.
He was among 14 cops who were fired upon by the Militants yesterday evening. All the injured were taken to hospital where he and two others succumbed to their injuries.
