Rasjouri| : a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Baba Gulam Shah Badsha University organised a inter departmental essay competition on the topic ‘Indain constitution and Fundamental Duties.’The event was organised by the Media cell of the unversity wherein students of various departments participated. Saleem Talib from the Department of Arabic bagged first position while Priya sharma of Department of Mathematics got second position and third position was clinched by Tabarak Ali of Department of zoology.
Prof. Akbar Masood congratulated the winners and other participants of the competition and for their overwhelming interest and keenness in participating in the competition.
Observing that the students are the Harbingers of growth and development of the society, the Vice Chancellor stressed the need for providing multiple opportunities to the youth so that they can develop the grit and capacity to successfully shoulder their future responsibilities in regard to tasks of nation building.
Prof. Akbar Masood lauded the efforts of Meda Advisor of the University Dr. Danish Iqbal for organising the event.
