Rajouri: A COVID-19 testing camp was organised at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University on Tuesday, 29 September in coordination with the district administration.
The camp was organised in the University health centre for the teaching and non teaching staff of the University. Around 150 persons participated in the said drive after following the proper Covid-19 protocol. All the samples were turned out to be negative. Those who were tested Tuesday included Vice Chancellor BGSBU Prof. Akbar Masood, senior functionaries , teachers , officers and members of non teaching staff of the University.
Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University said that the University has taken a lead in past several months in organising Covid testing camps in the campus and advised all the stakeholders to take all precautions and strictly observe Covid appropriate behaviour. Prof. Akbar said that such testing camps would be organised regularly in future as well to avoid the risk of infection.
Vice Chancellor applauded the efforts of the Dean of Students Prof. G M Malik, Associate Dean of Students Dr. Parvez Abdulla, Staff from District adminstration and staff of the University health centre for organising the testing camp.
