Kulgam: Suspected militants reportedly snatched an assault rifle from a policeman in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
The incident occurred at Shamsipora Khudwani Crossing.
Reports said that an AK-47 rifle was snatched by suspected militants from a policeman who has been identified as Mudasir Ahmad, a resident of Devsar posted at police station Wanpoh.. The suspected militants managed to escape from the spot. A search operation was launched to track down the rifle snatchers.
