Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal on Friday said that it has arrested 10 accused and seized ten vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in Ganderbal.
Police in a statement issued here on Friday said that officers from Police Station Ganderbal led by SHO Ganderbal arrested ten persons and seized ten vehicles (Tippers) involved in extraction and transportation of raw materials illegally extracted from Sindh nallah, stating therein further that the said accused have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody.
Police in it’s statement also said that cases under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Ganderbal and investigation has been initiated.
