ADC Handwara inspects several markets for implementation of Corona Curfew

Kupwara: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir along with concerned officers Wednesday visited several markets of Handwara town and took stock of the Corona Curfew being implemented on the ground.
Later, the ADC chaired a separate meeting of members of Municipal Committee and Traders Federation Handwara to review the further course of action during upcoming holy festivals of Jamatul Vida, Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.
The ADC sought cooperation from both Presidents of Municipal Committee Handwara and Traders Federation Handwara in continuing their efforts for mitigating the Covid situation during the festival days in the Handwara sub division.
He appealed the general public to stay at home and not venture out unnecessarily to help break the Covid chain.
The meeting was attended by President, Municipal Committee Handwara, Masroor Ahmad Banday; President Traders Federation, Aijaz Ahmad Sofi; Tehsildar Handwara and others concerned.
