Qazigund: Atleast 110 non-local labourers working with a private company executing works in Ladhak , arrived in Kashmir last week and tested positive for COVID-19 last Sunday in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources said that 110 non local laborers working with a private company carrying out it’s activities in Ladhak three days ago tested positive as190 samples were collected for tests on last Friday. All those who tested positive were sent to COVID care centres situated at Qazigund. Meanwhile an official said the infected labourers were working with a private company carrying out activities in Ladhak . The residents of the Qazigund area have appealed the government to ban the entry of non local labourers and visitor till covid situation improves in Kashmir.
