Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said that it has arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for a long time.
Police in a statement issued on Tuesday said that following inputs abut the movement of an absconder, a Police party headed by SHO PS Qazigund under the supervision of SDPO Qazigund raided the specified location and subsequently arrested the absconder from Gufbal Qaimoh identified as Sayar Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Mishipora Redwani Qaimoh wanted by law for his involvement in case FIR number 271/2020 U/S 15, 18 NDPS Act of PS Qazigund. Further investigation is in progress.
Stating that the consistent actions against anti social elements should reassure the community members that efforts are on to keep society free of crime, Police in it’s statement resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.
