Srinagar: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday summoned Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti for questioning on March 15 in an alleged money laundering case.
According to ED summon the former chief minister has been asked to present herself on March 15 at the ED’s Delhi office.
Mehbooba, who was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in 2019, was released from the detention after over a year on October 13 last year. Taking to her twitter account, the PD chief wrote: “GoI’s tactics to intimidate and browbeat political opponents to make them toe their line has become tediously predictable. They don’t want us to raise questions about its punitive actions and policies. Such short sighted scheming won’t work.”
