B’Pora: With an aim to instil discipline and bearing amongst student’s and nurture their overall growth, Bharat Scouts and Guides day 2021 was organised with great zeal and enthusiasm at Army Goodwill School, Bandipora by Kharpora Army Camp of Bandipora RR under the aegis of Watlab Sector.
The event was organised by Bandipora RR wherein 32 Boys and 32 Girls were registered into the Bharat Scouts & Guides.
The newly registered children were presented uniforms and certificates by the Army as part of the celebrations.
The Commanding Officer of Bandipora RR and Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora addressed the gathering and motivated the children to live a disciplined life of selfless service. Chief Education Officer, Nodal officers of Scouts & Guides participated in the programme.
This gesture by the Army was highly appreciated by the parents and teachers who thanked the Bandipora RR for their continued guidance and support to the youth in the area.
