He asked the LG that people of jammu and kashmir are yearning for peace and development and want to live with dignity and honour.Hakeem urged the LG to seek from the Center a comprehensive special package for the unemployment youth of jammu and kashmir especially in Central government departments and PSUs as the industries in the state were negligible in view of its disadvantageous geographical location.Hakeem also urged the LG to execute work on various identified mini hydle power projects in jammu and kashmir to harvest the huge hydle power potential for promotion of industries on sustained basis. He sought personal intervention of LG for execution of work on proposed Minipower projects in Sukhnag and Nallah Shaliganga in his Khansahib constituency.
