Gulmarg: Army in collaboration with the Solar Group is installing an Iconic National Flag at Gulmarg. This flag would be the highest Indian Flag, flying at a height of 100 feet, in the Kashmir valley. The foundation stone is being laid by Major General Virendra Vats, Baramulla Division, on Sunday 07 February in the presence of Col (Retd) Ramit Arora & Mr Pankaj Dhar of Solar Group.
The project would involve placing of 100 feet pole on which the flag will be hoisted. This momentous project is being undertaken by the Solar Group which was founded by visionary Satyanarayan Nandlal Nuwal in the year 1995.The epochal National Flag would add to the exhilarating beauty of Gulmarg & will be a splendid tourist attraction. The construction is expected to be completed by April this year.
