JK Bank celebrates 72nd Republic Day; CMD unfurls national flag

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Bank CMD R K Chhibber unfurled the national tricolour in the lawns of J&K Bank Zonal Office, Jammu in presence of a large gathering of bank staff to celebrate the 72nd Republic Day. Director on the bank’s board, Vikram Gujral, was the guest of honour on the occasion. The attendees included various police and bank officers and police. On the occasion the security guards of Paragrene Security agency presented the Guard of Honour. An impressive cultural program was also presented at the function.
The CMD while praising the role of police personnel presented citations and appreciation letters to Deepak Dogra, SP South, Parshotam Mengi SDPO South, Gurnam Choudhary, SHO Gandhi Nagar and Sumit Sharma Incharge Police Post Nehru Market for their exemplary hard work in cracking the theft incident at BU New University Campus Jammu in record time. JKBOA Jammu Unit led by Anil Sharma & Arjun Singh Rathore felicitated CMD J&K Bank R. K. Chhibber, Director-on-Board, Vikram Gujral, Executive President, Sunil Gupta and Vice President & Zonal Head, Sunit Gupta by presenting them with traditional Dogra Turbans.
The CMD while addressing the staff members congratulated them on the occasion of Republic Day and also extended praise conveyed by the Lt. Governor of J&K UT Manoj Sinha, in his address at the official function of Republic Day Parade.
Chairman Grameen Bank, Sudhir Gupta, Vice President & Zonal Head Udhampur, Susheel Gupta, Vice President, Anand Pal Singh and Vice President & Zonal Head Doda Vibhakar Khajuria also graced the occasion. Vice President and Zonal Head, Sunit Gupta while thanking the gathering, praised the bank staff for their enthusiastic participation in the function.
Meanwhile the Republic Day was also celebrated in the premises of the J&K Bank Zonal Office, Kathua also, where the National flag was unfurled by Zonal Head, Jammu Central 2 Kathua Ashutosh Sareen followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
