Srinagar: Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Srinagar Police at Police Station Karan Nagar while following social distancing norms and other protocols. Police said in statement
According to police statement issued on Wednesday the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Karan Nagar. The meeting was attended by large number of respectables and chemists of the area.
“During the meeting, the participants raised various issues including, traffic jam/ wrong parking in front of shops, parking place at Karan Nagar and other several issues”, the police statement reads, adding that “the chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal”.
The participants, according to the police statement assured their full cooperation and appreciated the impartial role of Police in the execution of law and hailed the visible change in the behaviour, conduct, etiquette of Policemen towards general public.
