Kokernag: An 18-year-old youth died after he fell from the roof of a moving passenger vehicle at Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
A police official said a youth identified as Reyaz Ahmad Akhon, son of Ghulam Ahmad Akhon of Gawran fell from the roof of Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03C-0171 in Nowbugh area and received serious head injury.
He said the victim was rushed to a nearby PHC where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Station House Officer (SHO) Larnoo said he died after falling from the roof of a moving passenger vehicle, adding that a case has been registered in this regard
