Budgam: The Nomination papers filed in Beerwah block were scrutinized Tuesday.
According to the District Panchayat Election Officer Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza, 07 Nomination papers filed for DDC elections were found valid thus no paper was rejected Tuesday on date of Scrutiny.
He said the AROs also received Twenty 25 Nomination papers for Sarpanch seats. On Scrutiny of nomination papers for Sarpanch seats, 01 form was declared as invalid. There was also submission of 161 Nomination papers for the Panch seats at Beerwah with no rejection on date of Scrutiny.
It is pertinent For the Phase 2nd of DDC, Panchayat bye-elections as many as 193 nomination papers were received at Beerwah block of the district Budgam.
