Kashmir’s Adnan Shafi among 30 top writers of 80 countries awarded by Gujrat Shahitya Academy, Motivational Strips

Srinagar: Kashmir’s Adnan Shafi who regularly writes for the opinion pages of Kashmir Horizon is among 30 top writers of 80 countries awarded jointly by Gujrat Shahitya Academy and Motivational Strips on the eve of India’s 14 the Independence day
Motivational Strips being the world’s most active writers forum and Gujarat Sahitya Academy being India’s premium literary institution (under the state government of Gujarat) joined hands to honour India’s most prominent poets on India’s 74th year of independence day. Both the entities also decided to celebrate 74th Independence Day of India, by honouring top 350 top writers of eighty (80) countries including Adnan Shafi a promising Kashmiri writer who regularly writes for the opinion pages of “ Kashmir Horizon”.
The world of literature during second half of 2020, has witnessed rampant growth due to pandemic and subsequent lockdown, opening up wider scope and opportunities for connoisseurs of the pen art. Many writers pursued their literary passion to keep their restricted moments of social distancing, on a productive front.
