The biggest challenge that we face in the rural region is how to make schools accessible to the students. Although with various awareness programs students are enrolled in the school, the problem of absentee students still persists. Also illiterate or parents who have not studied much hesitate in coming to school. The problem can be solved through group interactions and community awareness programs. To make this possible, if the schools organise various awareness programs from time to time, honour the parents, make the people aware of the government schemes for the upliftment of the society, it will obviously help in developing a bond between the local people and the school. This will help in solving many problems and there will be a continuous benefit to the society. We have so many teachers in our department of education who have worked with all zeal and zest for the betterment of education system and have given their ways of teaching, with an experience of more than 20 to 30 years. Every new teacher should apply the ways and teachings of our elder teachers as the above cited methodologies help in communal awareness, increase in the number of scholars in education. It also creates an appropriate and cooperative environment for the students.
A vigilant adult not only plays a significant role in the society but also contribute in, explaining the importance of education to the rest of the community. In the social arena, a community greatly contributes to the school, village or nation and plays a critical role.
The rural community, which often lacks education and awareness, doesn’t like to get in the school activities. As a result, they don’t understand the importance of education and don’t encourage their children to attend school. A society which is aware plays an important role in uplifting the people and makes them understand the importance of education. To give thought to the general awareness in the community and to think about various propaganda such as “”clean India””,Beti Bachaov-Beti Padhav””,etc. Teacher -guide sessions can be held at any convenient time as decided by the school. For instance, in Beti Bachav Beti Padhav,a daughter’s birth is also celebrated! Teachers and other communal members visit the house of the particular girl and congrat the parents which creates an environment of celebration in the house and the mother is saved from the ill behavior of family members.
By organizing various competitions for the students, the parents and elders who cannot sign are helped. After teaching them to sign, if possible students can educate them through special teachings programs prepared for the elders. This helps them to progress. At the end of the program, successful students and parents are honoured and should be awarded. A vigilant adult not only plays a significant role in the society but also contribute in, explaining the importance of education to the rest of the community. In the social arena, a community greatly contributes to the school, village or nation and plays a critical role.
